Hi there,
----------------------------------------I recently switched from windows to Ubuntu, so I’m new to Linux but a good learner. I’m running Ubuntu 20.04.2 and Boinc Manager 7.16.6. I am trying to change the compute preferences for this machine locally. But the windows is clear, showing no options. See screenshot... any ideas? Thanks a lot! Sorry, don’t know how to add images :-/ [Edit 2 times, last edit by alexander@a-thomas.de at Jan 30, 2021 11:02:32 AM] |

OK, so the preferences window is blank - how about the projects and tasks Windows?
I’m just trying to confirm that the manager has made a connection with the client. I have a setup identical to yours and after every reboot I have to manually connect the two before I can see any data. |

I am trying to change the compute preferences for this machine locally. But the windows is clear, showing no options. Confirmed for Debian's 7.14.2 in Simple View. The notices window is also affected.any ideas? Use Advanced View. |
