Running Client on more than one PC

Sorry if this is covered in another post, I looked but didn't find it.

I'm running the WGC client on two computers using the same account, my home PC and my work laptop. I have currently accrued about 1500 points (my home PC has sent in two results, my laptop is only 70% done its first work unit). After my home PC sent in the first result, the client on my laptop updated my total points counter appropriately. However, it still hasn't updated after my home PC sent in it's second result, which was over 28 hours ago, long before the nightly stats batch update ran.

Any ideas why?

The client has to connect to the server to update. It does this every time it has completed a task and downloads a new workunit.

Re: Running Client on more than one PC

oh, that makes sense - my first work unit must have been complete before I installed the client on my laptop. That would explain it.

thanks alot, red_dragon
