December Update: OpenPandemics - COVID-19

The project is coming closer to beginning lab testing on promising compounds, but there is still much work to do on World Community Grid.

Regarding GPU:

"Porting code to GPU is a lengthy process because there are a number of necessary steps to ensure that work units function well and securely before they're sent to volunteers.

The code just went through an IBM security review. The reviewers recommended a few minor changes, which are being evaluated by World Community Grid's tech team."
----------
Considering the delay for this project, I have started crunching on Folding@home using GPU only while CPU's stay here on WCG. They are also working on Covid-19, and you can select a preference to contribute to that project as a priority. I suggest others do the same with any spare GPU's so we can give this virus the boot.

Further to Flyn's post, I wonder whether it will have to go through another security review if/when the minor recommended changes have been made?
