I assume I should just kill it? Most tasks take just under 4 hours to complete.

Either suspend it without keeping it in memory, or give the Manager a reboot.

I rebooted the PC. The elapsed time on that unit went from almost 2 days to about 4 hours, and it completed an hour later. Thanks.
