work done on this project indicates zero when project is executing.
Even though the simple view shows the ELAPSED time and REMAINING time are incrementing at a steady rate the message "WORK DONE ON THIS PROJECT 0" appears. Why is that?

Generally it means you haven't turned in any validated results. Nowadays it is also possible that you have chosen to 'Hide my data'
(see the DataSharing page and the CompareMembers function).
