"Built on a 5nm node, Perseus will offer up to 192 cores with a 350W TDP, rivalling and potentially surpassing EPYC and Xeon in key categories."

Shouldn't this be in Hardware Chat Room?

Shouldn't this be in Hardware Chat Room? Yes, and just now I posted an alternate article over there . I posted here first because I think ARM CPUs are primarily of interest to Android crunchers, though obviously the number of cores in this one pushes it to a way higher level than your average smartphone. |

Oh, in the comments of that article they says this processor has 192 GPU cores, not CPU cores!!! |

Comments can be accurate, but often they are not.
----------------------------------------If its GPU cores, then its not such great news for WGC crunchers. Im not a techie, but this article says the N2 has 192 cores, and does not mention GPUs at all. But its probably more in the commercial server realm than home crunchers, I guess. https://www.crn.com/news/components-periphera...pus-faster-than-intel-amd |
