I must suspend while I'm on any work-related zoom call. It's too easy to forget to turn it back on after the call. I'd love a way to 'suspend for one hour (or some other time amount) so it'll just start up again on it's own.

That already exists.
----------------------------------------Go to the taskbar, right click on BOINC, temporarily suspend computation. Resumes after 1 hour. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

That option AND the ability to add an app to the 'exclusive' in your BOINC Manager thru the MENU Options > Exclusive application screen, after which BOINC pauses automatically and resume again when you unload zoom.
----------------------------------------NB, the entry through the menu adds a line to an automatically created cc_config.xml file which reads like <exclusive_app>HereGoesYourExactAppName.exe</exclusive_app> with the appropriate extension, either .exe or .com. Edit: To tell where options can be found. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 18, 2020 5:02:22 PM] |

If you're using World Community Grid client then instead BOINC it is called simply "World Community Grid" - but in fact it is the same software, just with different name and graphical skin.

My app says
World Community Grid across the top. R-click or L-click there asks if I want to max, min, close, etc. Menu items are: File View Activity Options Tools Help Tabs are Notices, Projects, Tasks, Transfers, Statistics, Disk. I can list each option under the tabs if that'll help. but I cannot see what you are mentioning anywhere - Appreciate your help. if I can get this figured out, I will be able to contribute more because I won't keep forgetting to turn it back on after a meeting. (Cannot use the 'per application' because Microsoft Teams is running all the time, not just for meetings) |

If I r-click on the icon, I get 'move, size, minimize, maximize, close'. Nothing else.

Yes there is. (Exclusive Applications under Options)
----------------------------------------and, sigh, that does not help because I must leave Microsoft Teams open all day. And that's the same app I use for the meetings. [Edit 1 times, last edit by HappyBiker14 at Sep 18, 2020 3:40:18 PM] |
