long running project, not enough badges

For a long running project like this, there should be badges beyond 100 years.

Diamond - recognizing higher levels of contribution of 5, 10, 20, 50 and up to 100 years of computing time

just doesn't hack it anymore. 200 and 500 years would be appropriate, I think. I'd love to have a new 500 year target and a shiny new 200 year badge now.

Re: long running project, not enough badges

This has been asked "for ages" now.

I hope it happens.

Re: long running project, not enough badges

In theory I agree, however neing new here, I wonder how many computers it would take to get to a 500 year badge.

Not much with today's many cores monsters running 24/7. I vote for this beyond 100 yrs badges. Effort should be rewarded.

Re: long running project, not enough badges

I would like to see 50 or 100 year increments beyond the initial 100 year milestone.

For a long running project like this, there should be badges beyond 100 years.

Re: long running project, not enough badges

As I said before...make the badges and present as a gift to WCG or find a way to include them in our sig.
