I bought a Raspberry Pi model 4, which seems rather nice, with 4GB of memory, goes quite well.
Liked it so much, I bought two others with 8GB of memory each and decided to put a 64-bit more mainstream Linux distribution on those two. So, they have Ubuntu 20.04 64-bit, and may things work very well on there, Jenkins, Apache, Docker and K8s. But not boinc. Are there any 64-bit ports of Boinc yet for Arm and Linux, Ubuntu in particular? Peter. |

Ubuntu and BOINC should work but AFAIK from reading other posts, WCG applications that are available for ARM only work in 32-bit OS.

You maybe need to install the 32 bit library to support 32 bit applications.

Just not 64-bit ARM on Linux at the moment. I hope so, since I plan on retiring 32-bit kernel/userland from all my Pis, hopefully this year.

Okay, thanks all.
I might well try getting some 32-bit libraries onto these machines and see if I can convince WCG that it's just running 32-bit ARM. Cheers. |

This seems to be the path that means my 64-bit Pi pair can run 32-bit jobs from World Community Grid. Phew! |
