forgive me but - a 62 hr long WU (runs so long bc of my low-powered CPUs, but still --) returned an error after all that time of crunching.

You deleted the messages in between so it's a guess, but the closest is probably

In my view, after seeing the output, is that your computer completed the task and then tried to compress the output. The compressions fails again and again. In the end BOINC is giving it up.
You mentioned you have a slow computer. At the time of the compression of the task's output there was probably not enough memory to complete the whole process. That would explain the repetitive message. BOINC keeps on trying, but fails everytime. I have seen ARP1 tasks kicked back to their latest checkpoint because of too many FAH2 tasks suddenly kicking in, eating away nearly all computer memory. Summary: your computer probably lacks sufficient memory. Solution: installation of more memory. |

that particular computer has 8 GB of memory, running only 2 tasks at the same time.
----------------------------------------My other PC has 4 GB - and runs 4 tasks at once, with no issues - while in use. Hence why I am scratching my head. They are both laptops - but eh. I'll do some more troubleshooting on my end to figure out what went wrong. Heck - maybe windows decided to be greedy and use up more memory than usual.
