Windows 10 lock screen appears to kill screen saver

My PC just updated to the latest Windows 10 Home build (version 1909, OS build 18363.836). I had to reconfigure the screen lock and screen saver settings, but something still isn't right: the screen saver is set to come on after 4 minutes of inactivity, and the BOINC client starts up correctly and starts chugging away at the project, but one minute after that, my windows login screen appears. This did not occur before the update. Is the BOINC client still running under the lock screen, or is there some setting I have to change to stop the lock screen from "interrupting" the screen saver? Help, please!

check your screen saver settings. Is "On resume, display logon screen" checked?

Re: Windows 10 lock screen appears to kill screen saver

The time for the BOINC screensaver to kick in has to be 1 minute later than BOINC resuming computing. Also, look at the Setting. There's 4 scales from 1 minute to 1 hr and Never. See Community help for more https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...ead,4925_offset,10#191742

Thanks for the help, unchecking the "On resume, display logon screen" box seems to have done the trick. Yeah, Windows for bodging up all my settings on the update...
