I'm running 16.04 (I've fully encrypted discs and don't dare to upgrade, but that's another story).
There doesn't seem to be a package (in the standard repository) called cpufreq (anymore?). The only thing I can select in the tray are those two governors I mentioned (performance and powersave). And when I select powersave it changes to performance after some time. |
