Please add a Suspend (temporary) option.
Eg under Activity - Suspend , add an option(s) Activity - Suspend (one hour, 4 hours, 8 hours, or Custom entry) I keep forgetting to "unsuspend" managing the Suspend time would make the software easier to use. Thanks |

BOINC has a "Snooze", which is 60 minutes. Activate via the system tray BOINC icon, right click.
----------------------------------------Now there's a trick. BOINC can detect if the computer is being used (mouse/keyboard/joystick), and then be told to pause for N minutes from when use ended. Find "While Computer is in use" and untick and set "Only after computer has been idle for N minutes". While you're using the computer, BOINC wont restart while you pause during user activity. If you set it to e.g. 20 minutes, it wont restart while you're fetching a coffee, but it will if you go out for lunch. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 9, 2020 8:12:55 AM] |
