2 Jun 2020 Summary We are updating the operating system on our servers on Thursday, June 4, beginning at 13:00 UTC. We will be applying an important operating system update to our servers on Thursday, June 4, beginning at 13:00 UTC. We anticipate that the work will take approximately four hours. During some of this time, volunteers will not be able to upload or download new work, and the website will not be accessible. Volunteers will not need to take any particular action, as your devices will automatically retry their connections after the maintenance work is completed. We appreciate your patience and participation. WCG always says you don't have to do anything, but if you'd like to crunch uninterrupted it's a good time for those who run without any buffer queue to up that value to 0.25 days, sort of 6 hours. Push come to shove, if you get a bad back-off it can be hours before a client tries again to upload results and fetch new. Just saying. |

No notice in the client, the announcement in news not indicating this activity completed. Whatever eye there's still to dot and tee to cross, everything volunteer facing seems to be working nominally.
