Re: (please, forward to Scripps' researchers): two less known DC-projects working on Sars-Cov2

The scientist behind Quarantine@home said on Twitter that there is no Windows version for GPU. He says this is because Scripps dropped it from the AutoDock repository (it does mention something of the sort on the Github repo).

He only tested with Nvidia, btw.

I absolutely love the graphics and the fact we get to know the energy result, ZINC compound being docked and the target protein.

It is very nice for Autodock 4, but I think the OPN folks have moved on to covalent bonds and more sophisticated stuff.
I would like them to put that on GPUs.

There is now, and I have installed it (Win7 64-bit). But it does not work on my RX 570.
Maybe someone with an Nvidia card can give it a try.

If Moderna gave Scripps the B cells that produce the antibodies to their mRNA-1273 vaccine they could sequence the IgG and let us dock it to find exactly where it binds to Spike. In particular the eight participants with positive PRNT results.

The Windows version is working well - Download Installer

Or here is the download link:

Apologies Jim, I have the windows cpu version on a few devices, I thought you meant there was a windows GPU version.

I have tried to run Ubuntu inside my Win 10 machine with nvidia gpu but really don't get very far. Also made a usb with it on but fail with that also. It seems very complicated imo.

No, my mistake. I thought that it included the GPU too. I guess it doesn't.

And my Ubuntu GPU version is just stopping too often. I think I will wait for the boinc2docker version, which they say they are working on, or at least thinking about (though it appears that even that doesn't include GPUs yet). It is still in rather basic form.

TN-Grid is sharing with others:

"The first batch of genes related to COVID-19 has been completed. We sent the results, for further analysis, to the Univ. of Modena & Reggio Emilia School of Medicine, Italy. Starting from today we added another batch of genes, per request of the aforementioned institution. Most of them are antibodies, so the focus right now is the immune system.

Here is the list of the genes: PTPRC CD28 CCR7 PDCD1 SNCA SPATA2 CD27 B3GAT1 IL7 IL2RA ISG20 FAS PTPN13 CD38 CD74 CD24 CR2"
