Date format

Hi, a small thing, but is there an option anywhere to change the date format on the history page? At the moment, it is mm/dd/yyyy. I would prefer it to be dd/mm/yyyy. Obviously, I can see what the dates are, but there are times when I have looked quickly and had to double check - it would be so much quicker if I could change the date format I see. Thanks.

Re: Date format

I actually prefer yyyy/mm/dd as that is properly sortable no matter the format.

As for the format display, think you have a limited choice of site languages, but if you have English already, that's it. If you use the WCG API to extract the results detail, the dates are presented as seconds since Unix came alive 01/01/1970. You'd have to convert them to days and then add like 25569 days to get a calendar date since 1/1/1900.

Re: Date format

Thanks for the reply - I would also be quite happy with the format you suggest. The other info is interesting, though, thanks.

that or the option to use day-month-year format - (the standard where I went to school) - would save a lot of confusion

Ideally yyyy-mm-dd according to ISO 8601.

Re: Date format

The trouble is that the yanks have corrupted English and insist that their version is correct, when it isn't. LOL
