Hi, first of all sorry for my bad english.
When I looked to my computer I noticed that CPU runs 100% but GPU zero. I thought may be World Community Grid has no work for it so I take a second project. But still same. But by random I found following Information under Features by both projects Keine Aufgabe anfordern fürNVIDIA GPU Projekt hat keine Anwendungen für NVIDIA GPU Means: Not asking for Tasks for NVIDIA GPU Project has no applications for NVIDIA GPU Is something wrong with my program or had I taken by random two Projects without work for GPU? It is wasting time not to use GPU which is powerfull I think. If you can give me some hints it would be helpfull, please write on a noob level. Thank you in advance. ---- WIN 10 pro, 32 GB Prozessor Intel Core i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz Grafik NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 |

There are no projects at WCG that uses GPUs.

for high-end Nvidia GPUs - surely GPUgrid
for middle-end GPUs I prefer Einstein@home (uses 1 CPU in addition) for low-end GPUs (4xx and newer) Milkyway@home is good enough for even elder GPUs (e.g. GT240, GTS250) SETI@home was the best project but now it's going offline... maybe distributed.net RC5-72 will suit this type of hardware but it lacks performance compared to ATI/AMD cards |

Wenn Du über Werkzeuge => Projekt hinzufügen gehst, dann in der Liste runterscrollst, findest Du neben jedem Projekt einen Hinweis auf die unterstützten OS und Grafikkarten(-Hersteller).
wenn Du sicher gehen willst, daß Deine Karte unterstützt wird, gehst Du zuerst auf die Projekt-Webseite und guckst unter Anwendungen, welche GPUs unterstützt werden, Deine ist allerdings so neu, daß das kein Problem sein dürfte. MfG, vonboedefeldt |

There are no projects at WCG that uses GPUs. There may be one in our future since a beta test was recently announced. OpenPandemics GPU Beta Test - March 12 2021 Will there be a way to tell a GPU job apart, I wonder. The beta will be obvious.

Have fried so many cards that way, until I started to use Tthrottle on my computers. 👍 I am successfully running a 4 thread laptop with BOINC running at 50% CPU speed and a very old AMD system with BOINC set to 60% CPU speed. I don't know how GPU would be affected, but currently I am only asking for it on a couple of higher end Ryzen 7 machines with game graphics cards. I haven't seen any of the new betas yet.
