We will be conducting a beta test for Mapping Cancer Markers on the Android platform. While the initial alpha testing looks promising, I want to caution that since this is a new platform for the project there is a chance that the beta will run longer than usual and even possibly not be released to production.

The initial workunits that will be run in this beta are much shorter than what we run in production. We are starting this beta slow and will load a single batch of 100 work units at this shorter runtime. When we get some initial results back if things are going well we will add additional batches with these shorter runtimes. Once we get through the initial issues, we will also run batches with normal sized workunits in this beta.
