OpenZika - Project Update December 2019

Dear Volunteers,

The OpenZika project's work on World Community Grid is complete, but their data analysis is just beginning. Read more about what they've discovered so far in their latest project update.

Thank you to everyone who donated computing power to OpenZika! We're keeping in touch with the researchers and will let everyone know how their work is going in the coming months and years.

Re: OpenZika - Project Update December 2019

I have read the newest update and appreciate your posting the extensive rundown of the project. I am a little disappointed in the resolution of the diagrams (figures 1-9) as the fonts are quite small. Even when increasing the screen magnification, some of the small printing is unreadable due to blurring out at higher magnifications. A bit higher resolution of these diagrams would be appreciated so that when magnified they will remain more clear.
Thank you

Excellent update!
I agree with Joe that the diagrams are hard to read even on a very large UHD monitor.
Remember, some of us "older" crunchers have gone from eyes like an Eagle to tri-focals. wink

Cheers

It is not entirely clear to me how promising the candidates are. After you decipher it, please let us know. Then of course the lab trials must be done, and finally clinical tests.

I am wondering how effective VINA is as compared to other techniques.
Thanks.

Agree that the images need their original sizes. I can't read any of them.
