No tasks for 6 days and counting...

2 projects of your selection are paused and the other 2 have together only about 2500 tasks to send each day out of 1.5 million. It's fishing in an ocean without a very big bait.

Thanks for explanation, lavaflow.
I realized one of my projects was suspended, but not recently two! Also, I didn't notice such a small number of tasks are sent each day between the other two I have selected. Just looked at their run time numbers and thought I was getting overlooked for some reason. Those two have long running tasks so it goes to reason they have fewer units based on run time alone - I should have noticed that. I've since put a few more lines in the waters, to follow along with your analogy. ![]() |

Based on recent runtime, this is the project share at the moment:
----------------------------------------Mapping Cancer Markers 58.8% So if you want a constant flow of work units, then MCM and MIP are the only options. |

Based on recent runtime, this is the project share at the moment: Mapping Cancer Markers 58.8% So if you want a constant flow of work units, then MCM and MIP are the only options. Mapping Cancer Markers 58.8% Microbiome Immunity Project 39.2% Africa Rainfall Project 1.1% FightAIDS@Home - Phase 2 0.7% Help Stop TB 0.3% OpenZika 0.0% OFFICIALLY FINISHED and no longer active Smash Childhood Cancer 0.0% Those percentages look reasonable. There is plenty of work for the top two and I seem to be completing a little more at a time for MCM. The other projects are so sparse that I asked previously whether all of the scientists are out deer hunting. I get 1 or 2 now and then for ARP and 1 or 2 now and then for HSTB. Those aren't enough to keep 43 threads active. Once FA@H - Phase 2 resumes, it will take over all threads you give it due to the 24 hour due time and no wingman, so I have to ration it so other things can run. They are also talking about running more candidates for phase 1, so there should be a lot more work for that one in 2020. Just before SCC ran out of work, they had reset it to run single candidates per job. That one was crazy for the number of results. I ran it 100% for a couple days. Some were as short as 90 seconds. Two more climate projects are also pending. All I can do is to work on the top two until other projects pick up the load.

Set your profile to receive your total threads plus 1 split between mcm1 and mip1. That will keep your machine busy and updating frequently, but keep the others in place just in case one comes along at at the right time.

Has there been a time in the past where the vast majority of consistent workflow comes from just 2 projects for such an extended length of time? I would think there would be projects clamoring for computer time. It's not like WCG is new.

Thanks, the graph looks at least 2 - 3 months out of date however it appears for a good part of 2013 - 2015 there were just a few but as many as 11 just before that time period.
