O.K, so I'm not getting any work from this project. Looking at the log file I can see this message.
----------------------------------------02/11/2019 07:56:29 | World Community Grid | update requested by user 02/11/2019 07:56:31 | World Community Grid | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. 02/11/2019 07:56:31 | World Community Grid | Requesting new tasks for Intel GPU 02/11/2019 07:56:33 | World Community Grid | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks I've switched off GPU processing and tried a few other things but I'm completely stumped here, keep getting the same message. Any ideas? Pete ![]() |

What did you do to switch off GPU processing? I used <no_gpus>1</no_gpus> in cc_config.xml to simply turn off detection, but that doesn't take effect until the BOINC client next starts or if one manually reads local config files.
----------------------------------------Have you tried restarting BOINC so it only requests CPU tasks? All that aside, ARP1 work units are hard to come by at project launch. I'm lucky to get 1 or 2 per day across all my devices.

I think that it's more to do with an issue of a brand new project combined with very few work units available. I didn't touch my GPU available setting & I managed to snag a couple of work units on this machine. However it took putting the settings on getting 'only' Africa or TB and reducing the queue to .25 days. Even with that, a couple of the cores were idle for a while before eventually getting a unit. If you're crunching any other projects, WCG will probably fill the available holes in your queue with those first rather than the somewhat hard to get units.

Tasks are pretty rare right now; last time I checked about 2-3x as many as HST1, which is a rare sight. It might ramp up to maybe 10x, but the people who have opted in have many rigs and are likely taking most of the work right now. We will see
