siu77, thank you for reporting what can be considered as currently the oldest ARP1-generation (which can be found at this location) around!
Thanks for supplying the URL of the workunit, especially since it's a workunit with the Extreme status; in this way it is possible to generate a nicely formatted Workunit Status: workunit 301547113 ARP1_0034587_019_0 MSWin 10 P.Val 2023-05-06T15:26:42 2023-05-09T02:58:16 12.83/12.83 348.6/0.0 As you can see, in the meantime something has changed: all tasks are awaiting validation now. Validator has been stuck for a couple days now. Some of mine have 2/2 in Pending Validation state.

Adri, thank you for your reply and for the links.
to generate a nicely formatted Workunit Status Is it some kind of html/xml or maybe perl magic? Looks really nice. Have no idea how to do it. |

Adri, thank you for your reply and for the links. My pleasure. to generate a nicely formatted Workunit Status Is it some kind of html/xml or maybe perl magic? Looks really nice. Have no idea how to do it.In this case I've used the number of the workunit, 301547113, ran 'wcgstats -frrr=301547113' and pasted the output of that Perl program here. The option -f takes care of the formatting. (The option -rrr is added to reduce the width of "Pending Validation", else it doesn't fit.) Adri |

Validator has been stuck for a couple days now. Some of mine have 2/2 in Pending Validation state. It's just slow ('quite' slow, or maybe terribly slow, as some of us might want to describe it), but not stuck. In the past 12 hours, six of my tasks have validated, while another 70 are divided between …: * 31 waiting for a wingman to finish, * 39 waiting for the final verdict. And I have none In Progress. I still have more PVs than Valid but 1 machine still has a few pre-deadline.
Both machines have received some newbies from generation 138 today. Mike |

So does this mean my validation is being held up by someone's creaky old Mac? 'Cos my return has been there since the 7th.

Ian C:
workunit 301282750 ARP1_0023949_137_0 Darwin NoRep 2023-05-06T01:07:11 2023-05-12T01:07:11 Today is the 12th. You're lucky it's not the 12th of never. I mean, it shouldn't take that long for the other task to finish. But anyway, the initial tasks _0 and _1 were released on the 6th and one of them errored out with "couldn't start app: Can't link input file". So another task was released: _2, and obviously you received that one, Ian, because you said "my return has been there since the 7th." On the 12th, task _0 still wasn't returned (they got a No Reply), so another task, _3, was issued; it means that you'll have to wait 'a little' longer. Don't let it stop you from running any next or other tasks though. Good luck! Adri |
