Re: Work Avaiable

The last 08,38 WU I have received was at 14:38:14 CST today. All WUs received since then have been at randomized times.

Re: Work Avaiable

I've been dry since about 2:08 am CST today. No such luck of the draw.

Re: Work Available

Well, if they have brought in randomisation, then I'll just have to create a new set of 'auto-connects' to increase my chances of calling in biggrin
No, in all seriousness, if I'm fortunate to pick 1 or 2 up on my machine, then I'm happy - I'm even happier if these WU's are getting crunched SOMEWHERE and by SOMEONE smile

Re: Work Available

Picked up 3 so far after 'randomizing"... all at different minutes of the hour.

Re: Work Available

Well I am going back to 8 MIP, since I can't get a single ARP now, I'll leave 8 cores open just in case I get an ARP OR HSTB.
I actually got like 6 days of hstb this month, I was SHOCKED.

Re: Work Available

I think it is time to limit WU's for this project to one per member (not per core) until a reliable supply is available.

The supply is what it is and no amount of whining is going to change. Deal with it.

I have heard privately of many members who are considering abandoning WCG because of this debacle (and others)

See reply above. If the whiners want to leave they were here for the wrong reasons to begin with.

And that would be a shame, since it is really about the research not the badges

BINGO!

Re: Work Avaiable

Darn, Now that's going to sit on the interwebs for decades.
Is there any way I can correct it?
I'm not a great typist so you'd think I'd have learned to spend more editing before I hit reply.

Re: Work Avaiable

Well I'm out. Signed up the day the project was announced. Not had a single WU. Nice for all of you getting them. I'll stick to what I get and when there's better news I'll tick the project again.

From what I hear though, the size and duration of a WU is ridiculously big. Sounds like someone somewhere seriously messed up on this.
