I've completed 16 work units for this beta test, spread across several different PCs. Every work unit shows "Pending Verification", some have been showing this status for the last 6 days already. I suppose there is a problem with the results. Don't forget that a beta test is not just to test the code that runs on our machines, but also that which runs at crunching central. The validators need testing too, so it's common to hold the queues and release them slowly so they can watch the validators and tweak anything which can be tweaked without updating the user code. They also play games with the normal points allocation process to make sure, as far as is possible, that we are rewarded for our time even when things go wrong at home. Be patient. |

The application has been updated and beta has started again. The new application version is 7.27. The issue was that some of the output archives included a file that should not have been included. Unfortunately this means that results run under version 7.26 will not validate and will all end up invalid, but since this is beta everyone will get credit for those.

It seems resends from the old 7.26 version are distributed.

I received version 7.26 beta WUs as well. Should I abort these or give them a chance?

Yes sorry I missed a setting when I restarted so there were some resends that went out under version 7.26. Those can be aborted but if you received some on 7.26 and want the runtime towards beta feel free to let them run.

Are you sure the issue from 7.26 was solved? One resend is replication 4, the other 3 are Pending Verification. The other resend is replication 5, the others: 1 Error and 3 Pending Verification |

For most work units the initial results _0 and _1 are 7.26 and will eventually go invalid when we get two results from 7.27 and they validate. I have checked the output for 7.27 and the bug is gone, I am not saying there might not be other issues but we don't have any redundant results from 7.27 back yet.
