Hello,
I just noticed this: I have the "home" profile for my home PC and configure it through Settings -> Device Manager -> Device Profiles -> home -> Custom Profile In the subsection "Workunit Cache Settings" is a setting "Connect to network about every [...]" . This, however, affects the value "Store at least [...] days of work" in my BOINC client (Win10, Version 7.14.2 (x86)). To reproduce: Screen 1: ------------------------------------------------- I then change the value "Connect to network about every [...]" on the website. Then I go to my BOINC client on my computer Projects -> World Community Grid -> Update to load the updated profile. Then Options -> Computing Preferences -> Computing the value of "Store at least [...] days of work" has changed: My first guess is, that the website has the wrong label. It's a small thing, of course, but still. If I have earned eternal gratitude by finding and reporting this, I would like to see an option to rename the Device Profiles. (Actually, There is a way to do it, but it is a hack. An official way would be nicer). Thank you for looking into this and with kind regards, André Puls |

No, the web profiles are just years behind aligning to the newer client configuration descriptors as used in the v7.n agent where the functionality for some has altered.
