Hi everyone, Happy New year! I'm back after a week of cleaning up after Santa's reindeer! Now it's time to get down to crunching and put up some points. a special thanks to JC for keeping photobytony company over the holidays.

What? Are all the Coconauts asleep? It looks like the Canadian section is. Actually we were hibernating, but then the temperature broke the freezing point and woke us up. It's almost like summer, got to be 3C out there. Can't last going to -9 tonight |

Well I'm glad your awake. Any chance of giving Rudi a prod with a big stick? I sent the coconauts satellite over earlier but all we got back was cloud cover!

We have some new images of the Seychelles on the Coconauts webbie, taken by team member bodjee. These are presented in a "rollover style" image gallery. coconauts.org/imagegallery.htm You can also view several slide presentations of the seychelles, with soundtrack, available on the "Downloads" page. _BEAUTIFUL_ country, and excellent website. I do want to advise you, though, in case it matters -- the 'mouseover' feature doesn't work with Netscape 7.2 (my usual browser) so I had to load MS Internet Explorer on which it does work. The links do work with Netscape, but clicking on them opens the photo, and then I use my back button to return to your album. You ought to be able to convince someone to create a flag.gif for you, etc., so that it shows up on the forum to indicate your nation. Good luck with your new country, and I hope all is well there. Now, I read somewhere that a nation is not _truly_ a nation until it has its own brand of beer. So, what are you guys brewing there? Cheers. Bill Velek |
