Crunching@EVGA is consisting solely of volunteers crunching with their own means (@home) Before declaring each WCG team eligible or not, our selection committee studied each team on a case-by-case basis. By affiliate, we mean any exogenous means to a team that would allow it to recruit without using its own means. The forum of your team is hosted by the website and online store of the EVGA company and this is a form of affiliation that gives you visibility that can not afford other teams without affiliation. This is why we have created two levels of challenge this year: the THOR Challenge accessible to all teams without any distinction and the THOR Challenge Pure for "@home" teams. |

Well https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums is also hosting this event and maybe your "selection committee" should review their rules. Teams with websites are Not hosting them at their Homes and most have no websites and some use WGC and BOINC for their websites. This "THOR Challenge Pure for "@home" teams." Should be Posted and Only "@home Teams" should be allowed to sign up in the first place. Just my feeling about @home. But they are your rules whether right or wrong.
