What does "100M new volunteers" mean???
----------------------------------------Do they come from the Land of M in the Year 100? Kevin Reed showed a graph of BOINC users by year (slide 8) which shows a decline in users. Without seeing a more quantitative measure this may or may not be a problem. A graph of CPU FLOPs and GPU FLOPs by year would help. Juan Hindo gave a very nice talk about WCG. I'm glad she did not repeat the fallacious mantra that BOINC uses "spare computing power." I totally disagree with Patrick Schöfer and his claims that paying crunchers will fail.
