I currently am unable to run any World Community Grid projects. I have a Cable connection. What could my problem be?

Without any description of the problem you are having, it will be impossible to assist you. Please describe the symptoms of the problem you are seeing as completely as you are able. As retep57 was intimating, you should also verify that your system meets the minimum requirements for the project. Click here to view these. |

Also, don't know about here..........but people with McAfee firewall had connection issues over at grid???

That was also the case here. It is discussed in the Community Maintained FAQs here. Several other issues are also discussed in the FAQ's and users having difficulties should do some research there for assistance as well. It should also be noted that this thread is in the "Suggestions/Feedback" forum. It should have been placed in the "Member-to-Member Support" forum. No problem there -- if we are aware it is here, we will work with it. |

What does it say at the bottom of the agent window? After you establish your cable connection, minimize the agent and then bring it back up and see what happens. |
