Re: status update from isb/nyu

I think that the status update showing that the human part of the project is complete would be the most important of all of them. I would think that it would give great pride to both wcg and all of it members. I would thing that it would warrant some kind of celebration. Yet it has been four weeks since the last update. I am hoping to see an update soon.

rbonneau the Human Proteome Folding Scientist has been in China for a few weeks and had limited online access. We have asked him to post an update as well and he promised that he would soon. The project has a few more weeks to go.

Re: status update from isb/nyu

my system just started running fight aids@home, does this mean that all remaining workloads are assigned and the HPF project is almost/will officially be over when all these workloads are finished and returned?

kinda', sorta', maybe, maybe not.

The human part of Rosetta (I'll call it phase I) is over. HPF is working on 10 batches worth of mustard plants...still good info. Aids is started and the existing HPF will slowly fade away as they are completed. THEN...Rosetta phase II will start REFOLDING in more detail using a new program version.
