rose Router/Network box : Upgrade suggestions

ARM64 networks and router firmware updates,
We suggest upgrading to the latest drivers and firmware..

Router/Network box : Upgrade suggestions & Security
Arm Routers up-gradable with Ubuntu , ARM64 Linux
Quadcom, ARM64 & Asus for example.

https://help.ubuntu.com/lts/installation-guide/arm64/index.html

https://www.ubuntu.com/download/server/arm

https://is.gd/HighPerformanceCG

The objective is to install the Kernel and Applications/Libraries/Firmware..
So that they are usable by the OS, Squash FS is ideal,
The system layout : Bootable USB compatible with the CPU/GPU/Hardware of the device.

Furthermore available for file caching and with a swap partition,
Both the swap and the main partition need to be available to the process.

rose Re: Router/Network box : Upgrade suggestions

ADSL/VDSL SETTINGS SUGGESTIONS : Router Upgrades : UbuntUROM

pppd settings for modems,Routers,Android, Linux & windows : 5G LTE, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Fiber, Ethernet, Satalite, ADSL & net

DSL modulation auto
ANNEX Mode AIJLM
DLA Enabled
SRA enabled
G.INP G.998.4 enabled
Rx gain adjust enabled
ESPN Stable
Bitswap enabled
VDSL 30A Multi Mode
Stability Adjust 3db
UPBO Upstream Power Back off enabled
G.Vector G993.5 Enabled

Larger Sustained
Service catagory VBR-rt PCR 8192 SBR 2048 MBS 512/256/128

Smaller fast-Sustained
Service catagory VBR-rt PCR 4096 SBR 1024 MBS 256/128

Small fast-Sustained
Service catagory VBR-rt PCR 3072 SBR 768 MBS 128/96

PCR = Peak Bitrate SBR = Sustained bitrate MBS = ticks of bitrate in QoS
QoS Quality of Service - Packet prioritisation.

Smaller MBS size leads to higher cpu usage but quicker response & slower sustained data transfer,
Combine with smaller PCR,SBR

Larger MBS = Higher sustained data thoughput with lower CPU & IO usage,
Combine with larger PCR,SBR

Does work:
ktune deflate 15,15 bsdcomp 15,15

ktune predictor1 vj-max-slots 15 deflate 15,15 bsdcomp 15,15 passive chap-interval 60 debug kdebug 1

should work :
ktune predictor1 vj-max-slots 15 deflate 15,15 bsdcomp 15,15 key ipx multilink crtscts passive chap-interval 60 debug kdebug 1
