Dear World Community:)
Glad to present my project, my idea. Many of you have heard, and someone may have used, Amazon on-demand instances. To work or to add capacity during Challenges in distributed computing projects. My idea is to create a simple interface to run BOINC computing in the Amazon cloud. But using their other offering: Spot instances (up to 90% discount). Such computation can be interrupted for several reasons, but BOIC has control points for this case. My project should provide the best conditions for computing at the best price! Thanks for your feedback! I consider a case with Docker. But for now I’m investigating the interest of whether such a project is needed at all. You spoke positively first! Thanks again:)

Your scripts are azure cloud.. Nice work..
However it Is just WCG you recommend ;-) We have tried similar method with Microsoft HPC pack distribution : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54507 Microsoft HPC Pack 2016 including linux and docker, however both of these require install, Your scripts JMPS are simple.. to see in action & we wonder how many installed tools it would take to use such a script on IBM cloud https://cloud.ibm.com or amazon... Azura cloud is polished, Amazon is everywhere & IBM cloud has many features including Kubernets & Docker containers & multiple hardware types.. From instants to spot instances. The many merits of VPS & Cloud providers are offset by location & speed. *** Proud start JMPS : Go forward with it. RS |

I agree! The Microsoft Azure's case, in my opinion, is the best. Prices are low, people are friendly. Over the past 10 years, the corporation has changed radically to the right side. My goal is not to publish "easy to use" script. But a new paradigm - replace "donate your spare resources" to "donate tmoney, that converted to the spare cloud resources". The path of the WGC has long been exhausted. Only 70 thousand active volunteers are a drop in the sea. The number of people in the world who are ready to donate money for global humanitarian tasks is guaranteed not to 70 thousand. But no one wants to listen to me.
