Why are my FAH WU's blocked in "ready to be sent", where all others go "ready to be validated" and then go ?
Can I have an answer to this, because that way, all my FAH's will arrive late? Paul |

If they haven't been sent yet, the clock hasn't started ticking.

Where are you seeing those status messages? I don't remember ever seeing either of those two messages. I have seen "pending validation" but not "ready to be validated". Has anyone else ever seen those statuses? I would imaging that there are 10s of thousands of WUs in the different project feeders that are in "ready to be sent" just waiting for a client to ask for them.

On one occasion I can remember seeing a status 'waiting to be sent'. It was a day when some form of WCG maintenance was taking place. I believe the reporting and requesting servers had begun working again but the download server maintenance had not been completed. This was seen on a work unit where one wingman had reported an error or the passage of time had triggered a 'no reply' status which meant another work unit was required by a third wingman.

I have seen "Ready to be sent" when a WU of mine had just been through the validator and it had decided to send out another copy. That copy was marked "Ready to be sent" until such time as a wingman had received it, at which point it went to "In progress". That's why I said that, if it was still waiting to be sent, the clock had not started, as it starts once it has arrived on a machine. And if yours is the first copy, then you've already done your bit so that copy cannot time out.
