Has it been shut down already? I was in the Discord channel but now it appears to be gone. Not sure if booted out or if it was just removed. I tried the email address in David Anderson's post on the BOINC Forums but that address bounced back as not being a correct address.

The BOINC Founders Club was dissolved due to a lack of participation of the members of the club but also due to a lack of membership.
----------------------------------------Apparently, and despite the many invitations sent and the many messages posted on the BFC, the BOINC founders do not seem to be interested in productive exchanges to better communicate. And to be really concrete, I will take an example: 15 days before the deadline of the Athena Trophy, I posted a message in the BFC to the attention of the 16 registered founders so that 3 of them can form a pool and allow the Athena Trophy to be able to stand. 15 days, no answer, not even a reaction. And this is just an example. Many other messages have been posted without any reaction. |

Yeah..I saw a lot of messages. However, it seemed very spammy at the time and it is a busy time of year for me. WCG challenges for my team are usually in November/December and every other year for the Pentathlon. We may jump in for a few days for Formula-BOINC. However, there are a ton of projects to hit challenges in to that make it hard to organize more. We have found that only a few teams actually partake in Formula-BOINC. Only a few really participate in DC-Vault. Most wait for the Pentathlon. I would say even the PrimeGrid challenge series has lost its luster. I can say my team is very active in our Discord and formerly Slack channels. So, to get team founders involved, it really needs to be something that gets their attention and interest. I didn't see much to really draw me into a discussion as it was, like I said, more of a spamming of what we already see in all of the other forums, threads, social media, etc. Now if there was a specific question presented that actually needed real discussion, I would be more apt to chime in. Just too busy right now. Sorry.
