The international CRUNCHERS SANS FRONTIERES team is proud to present its new WCG challenge for the first half of 2019 : the Athena Trophy !
A relay race between all teams participating in the World Community Grid project.

The Athena Trophy will run from Monday, March 18th, 2019 to Sunday, April 07th, 2019.

3 weeks of challenge :
1st week : from Monday, March 18th to Sunday, March 24th ;
2nd week : from Monday, March 25th to Sunday, March 31th ;
3rd week : from Monday, April 1st to Sunday, April 7th.

To participate in this relay race, it will be necessary to constitute a Pool of 3 WCG teams.
Then, it will be necessary to give a name to your Pool (and possibly an image or a poster representing your Pool which will be added to the communication campaign around the Athena Trophy).
Finally, by mutual agreement, you will have to decide which team participates in the first week of challenge, which team participates in the second week and which team participates in the third week.
Each team will participate in 1 week of challenge and will pass the baton to the next until the end of the challenge.

Type of challenge - Evaluation of Pool performance: Points Generated.
The Pool having accumulated the most WCG points during the 3 weeks of competition will be designated Winner of the Athena Trophy.

Each week of challenge will be closed to the "public".
Each team in each Pool will receive an inviation to participate in the Athena Trophy for the chosen challenge week.
During the Athena Trophy, this thread will be used to keep you informed daily of the performances of each Pool.
You will also be able to use this thread to get in contact with each other in order to coalesce into Pool for the Athena Trophy.

Two rules for the Athena Trophy :
1. Only one "Crypto Team" will be allowed per Pool.
2. Transfers of volunteers between teams are strictly prohibited. Any transfer of volunteer within the same Pool will disqualify the Pool, without possibility of appeal.

You have until Sunday, March 10th, 2019 to form your Pool and officialize your participation in the Athena Trophy by announcing in this thread.

The official announcement of your participation must therefore contain the following elements :
- The name of your Pool (required) ;
- The image or poster representing your Pool (optional) ;
- The name of the 3 WCG teams constituting your Pool (required) ;
- The planning of the 3 weeks of challenge for your Pool (required).

The official acknowledgment of your participation in the Athena Trophy will be made via a tweet sent from the CRUNCHERS SANS FRONTIERES team Twitter account and duplicated in this thread.

The invitations for each of the 3 weeks of challenge will be all sent at the same time on Monday, March 11th, 2019.
No delay will be tolerated so as not to disrupt the relay race of the Athena Trophy.

The CRUNCHERS SANS FRONTIERES team reserves the right to amplify the Athena Trophy Rules at any time before the start of the competition.

During these three weeks of competition, and from an ethical point of view, we can not authorize "artificial" increases of teams.
