I've been trying to post a reply to a thread requesting help with linux but the page keeps telling me I don't have permission. The thread doesn't appear to be locked, so what gives?

Some text can trigger this such as "/ etc" without the space.
----------------------------------------Workarounds such as adding space as above after / may allow posting. Paul.

Same issue. Can't post a linux file path without adding spaces or breaking it up with incorrect directory names.

The workaround of adding spaces to etc / works, but I wouldn't hold my breath for WCG to fix the root cause of anything forum-related in the near future -- seems like an understaffing issue with too many other priorities. The problem is easy to reproduce by simply trying to add a post with etc / (without the space) and getting the "Forbidden" error. I presume the root cause is with either the HTTP server/daemon, load balancer security rule, the obsolete (and insecure!) forum software, perhaps IPS, WAF, or other security process.
