This technique is always worth a try as it does not interfere with the other running work units. Thanks for the suggestion. Should I see this again, I'll give it a try. |

I am having the same problem. i let one work unit run on, after work unit completed 100%, and 1day 13 hours later elapsed time was still ticking over. I aborted that work unit. i found this error message pertaining to a different work unit this morning (NZ time):1/12/2018 08:17:43 | World Community Grid | [error] garbage_collect(); still have active task for acked result SCC1_0003039_Lin-ZNF-F_21232_0; state 5
Can anyone interpret its meaning |

At one of my PC's 11 WU are stuck at "ready to be sent" since yesterday afternoon, nothing else is on the screen.

Have you tried a reboot of the PC? This cures many problems.

Is internet access working on the problem PC?
Are there any 'stuck' transfers? Are there any error messages in the boinc log? If there is no information from the above, please reboot again then try an update to get boinc to communicate with WCG. Please show us the output from the boinc log from starting boinc to the end of communication with WCG. |
