Re: Is anybody still getting work?

I got a small T000 re-send yesterday for another hour or so of runtime. I'm now at a hair over 360 days, less than 5 days away from Emerald.

This project, man. What a tease. *holds breath* ;)

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

Getting large T350' WU sure lowers daily numbers. Through natural means, three of my comps got two T350 WU. 6 cores still crunching after 15 hrs! Glad to get them for a cure to such a dastardly disease.

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

Only 60 units returned yesterday. The returns are rapidly drying up now it seems.

Presumably the very, very few units coming out are resends (units with a suffix of 2 or higher).

Can someone please say if we are going to get new units once all existing units have been returned satisfactorily?

According to this post, https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...ead,41289_offset,0#599738, the project isn't over. The only one that's actually ending is supposed to be Outsmart Ebola Together, which now appears to have been moved to the "Completed Research" section of the site.

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

The project is certainly an odd one; I've only had the occasional work unit since project inception despite having only 2 project active at any given point in time. I hope that the project team would at least explain the paucity of units - were they surprised by the initial response and have run out of work? Have the results shown errors in their computing which necessitate reprogramming? Any answer would go a long way in reassuring those who select the project for their crunching time...

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

We are used to the paucity of work but the dearth of WU's seems more pronounced right now....

Has anybody had any new wu's in the last few days?

Nothing for a couple of weeks.....

Here is the last 4 days of completed work units through noon GMT.

You would think one of the techs might chime in and enlighten us all on the circumstances. I know they are busy, but one or two sentences would be beneficial.
Cheers

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

I haven't had many workunits over the last couple weeks either, and my results stats show nothing recent when I sort by "Help Stop TB".

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

There appear to have been no new cases the last couple of weeks. Just the occasional resend, but they seem to have almost finished being returned now judging from the reduction to only 7 yesterday.

A brief official word would be appreciated.

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

The silence from both the project team or WCG is deafening. 1-2 sentences on the immediate gameplan would be most appreciated.
