I just noticed that every MIP 7.16 WU my Mac OS X (10.13.6 High Sierra) BOINC (7.12.0) is showing Computation error with elapsed time of "----" to a few seconds.
----------------------------------------My statistics page is showing error status for over 250 WUs, with dates of 9/29/18 to today. OpenZika and Smash Childhood Cancer are proceeding normally. What's Up? [Edit 2 times, last edit by tovli at Oct 1, 2018 12:57:29 PM] |

I know it's no help, but I have two MacBooks running the same softwares as you and have not thrown any errors the past few days. I run a mix of tasks (which it sounds like you do too).
Has it been a specific batch range? Can you look at your results page, click on the "Error" hypertext, and paste the contents in this thread? Smarter minds than mine can hopefully determine the cause from that. |

I would suggest rebooting your machine.

I installed the WCG boinc which was 7.2.42, which gave complaints about not compatible with OS, so re-installed 7.12.0 from BOINC.
The first MIP WU is proceeding without error. |
