I recently set up BOINC on Ubuntu & Android (two devices). Both have submitted valid results, but only the Ubuntu device appears on my results page. Do I need to do something special to link the Android device to my account?

I think I figured it out. BOINC =/= WCG. I needed to select WCG as a project. I don't know who benefitted from all that asteroid mapping work my phone did, but hopefully it is for a good end. :D

Should we have a high-end smartphone for BIONC can run? ? You don't need high end phones to run WCG. All you need is Android 4.1+ and ARM version 7 or above. I run several quad core phones as dedicated crunchers, and they work very well. And very efficient. |
