Got 4 of those on my MacBook (i7, 8GB RAM) and the screensaver just comes up as a blank screen with the logo(s), and a percentage display...

Hey Ralf,
Yeah, that is unfortunately the design shown during BETA. The issue that this fixes that if you were running a client older than 7.8.6 and running High Sierra, the screen saver would close instantly. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Hey Ralf, Ok, that part then seems to work as intended. Yeah, that is unfortunately the design shown during BETA. The issue that this fixes that if you were running a client older than 7.8.6 and running High Sierra, the screen saver would close instantly. I just was puzzled a little bit by the fact that besides the logo(s) and the percentage display (and progress bar), there was nothing else on the screen. Same goes at least for the MIP betas (got a couple of OET and OpenZIKA beta WUs as well, but wasn't around when they crunched (or my screen blanked due to the power savings settings after running the screen saver for about 5min). I am currently (on all my hosts) crunching SCC and that one shows a fully working screen saver with moving graphic perfectly fine. Ralf PS: Btw, the macOS version on that machine is 10.13.6 |
