Greetings again,
Two of the machines did not come back with properly installed kernels. We are working with the hosting group to get them updated. All other servers have been updated with kernel and OS updates. We went ahead and did kernel updates as well during this outage to help prevent another outage needed in the future. Thanks, -Uplinger |

We have finally restored normal operations. As Keith mentioned this update did not go as planned and some of the firmware updates took considerably longer to run then expected.
The two servers mentioned above are still not updated. One of them we have left in the hands of the server techs who are working to resolve the issue. The other we booted back in the old firmware so that we could come back online. We will have to take another outage on another day to update this. However, since both servers were experiencing the same issue, hopefully they can figure out the issue on the one and then we will take another outage to update the second server it will go quickly. Thank you all for your patience on this issue. |
