Re: Join Crunchers4life team.

updated the Sig to the newest info.
Black Bears seen in Newark, Ohio.
Jan 27,2020
The City of Newark is issuing a warning that a female bear and two cubs were spotted in the area of Alcon Dr. and Garfield Ave in the far east side of the City.

The City of Newark Department of Fish and Wildlife Officer Crisp P. Bacon, along with the LCSO, are working together to locate these animals in order to capture and transport them away from populated areas. Officer Bacon stated that if you see a bear to contact the LCSO. Do not approach or try to capture the bear on your own. So far, the bears have not proven to be aggressive but that situation could change at any point if they feel threatened.

The picture was sent in by City of Newark resident and retiree, Wilma Butfit, who was very shocked to see the bears tearing through her vegetable scraps she had set outside for her compost heap.

Please be very aware of your surroundings until the bears can be confirmed out of the area. Stay safe!
The mother should be hibernating. now,
The 2 cubs look to be about a month old.

Re: Join Crunchers4life team.

I hope everyone is safe and healthy!
Last Saturday I started my Technicians Class Amateur radio Classes. Yesterday My instructor and I tested a video conference call to use instead of in-person classes.
I added a 2 GHz quad-core used pc to my small crunching farm to replace my dual-core that died. Now with android, I have 21 cores 15 androids, 6 intel cores. A friend of mine started to run WCG about 10 days ago. She has not joined a team yet.

Re: Join Crunchers4life team.

About 2 months ago, my dad, had a tumor removed from his neck (not cancer) He's doing good.
My mom has breast cancer had to do the full mastectomy, now doing chemo, and radiation treatments.
Now everything is up in the air on her treatment till this covid 19 passes.
We are praying that this will be over soon. so she can still have her treatments.

I wish your Mom the best of luck good luck
Will her important treatments be in danger of being stopped?
In Denmark we have rearranged 'normal business' in our hospitals to make room and equipment
ready for the inevitable influx of covid-19 patients to come.
You may have to postpone your knee replacement,
but there are no limits on cancer treatments whatsoever.

Re: Join Crunchers4life team.

Thank you, Falconet and little mermaid.for your thoughts. I talked to mom about an hour ago.
Dad had to move out a few days. He is coming down with a cold. As it stands now it is more about if mom wants to go out for chemo. Thing is changing very fast here. We will have to wait for a see.

If thing are not bad enough, woke up to flash flood hear in Heath/Newark area of Ohio.
I live on higher ground so I went to see if they needed help sandbagging. They was only doing water rescues all day. This photo is the bike path underpass at Heath High school. The river is about 100 meters on the other side of the road.

These dumpster are not trash, they are used for recycling paper, cardboard ect.
