Wow, that's a welcome if I say so. Happy to be here. It will probably be only a short while before I go back to serious crunchers.
----------------------------------------I hope Little Mermaid doesn't catch me here, I'm supposed to be on a trek with her Sujo1 is in need of the extra help, so that is where I will be heading. I had seen this team a while ago and had wanted to join. I will be back off and on. I am running only 1 rig right now, a I9 system. Not much to say about me, just another old duff |

Oh, you were caught in the periscope all right
of which tanner2 left upon seing sujo1 in trouble just as I was doing the books .... tanner2, that's what I wrote yesterday. Not much avoids the eye or the hairdo or tail of a mermaid.Let me say: You made a good choice visiting keithhenry, lil' brother, he always makes you feel welcome - and to me you can do nothing wrong |

Wow, that's a welcome if I say so. Happy to be here. It will probably be only a short while before I go back to serious crunchers. I hope Little Mermaid doesn't catch me here, I'm supposed to be on a trek with her Sujo1 is in need of the extra help, so that is where I will be heading. I had seen this team a while ago and had wanted to join. I will be back off and on. I am running only 1 rig right now, a I9 system. Not much to say about me, just another old duff To tell the truth, you got the same welcome any new member gets. Yea, we try to make it a good one for everyone. We mean it too. I'm totally fine with you coming and going. Make yourself at home any time you want and as often as you want. The crunching is what really matters no matter where or who you do it with. Don't worry about LM. She's like the grandmother who arrives for a visit, takes charge of everything and proceeds to throw one non-stop party until she has to leave. How could anyone not love a grandmother like that. She'd be perfect on a "Easy Rider" style chopper! Time was most base campers crunched with two ids - one they ran on some of their machines for their "home team" and the other was used on other machines for their treks. That seems to have fallen out of favor - I suspect for the work needed to switch machines when there wasn't a trek. Speaking of treks, I've been meaning to drop LM a note inviting the whole camping crew over for a visit. Since she's become the "Lowell Thomas" of WCG, she doesn't need a home team. She's always "out on the road". |

- as far as I with my rudimentary Dutch and Google Translate can tell
----------------------------------------'altijd mooi meiden op motors' means 'always pretty girls on motorbikes' - please correct me if I'm wrong adriverhoef Words of endearment - indeed, any words - hugs, you name it, get you very far with this mermaid keithhenry. It so happens that we have a vacant slot in August. I asked for suggestions from the Base Campers. None came. I want it to be a strenuous trek, because it would be the dress rehearsal for Base Camp's GRAND GALLA SNURK CELEBRATION TREK in September So what could better? MOT is a hub of very accomplished crunchers. We will get something to sharpen our claws on. I'm sure the present Base Camp crew will love this challenge, and hopefully we'll attract many more crunchers for testing and honing their camping skills here before moving on to said September trek. You have a deal, keithhenry, and so does Base Camp - no one-way road here. Thank you for inspiring me EDIT: Forgot to mention that I also was influenced by the fact that Lowell Thomas grew up in Victor, Colorado, of all places and Grandma was there .... EDIT II: Just some polishin' here and there [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 12, 2018 8:54:24 AM] |

- as far as I with my rudimentary Dutch and Google Translate can tell You've got it almost right, LM; 'altijd mooi' = always pretty (or: always good/cool/beautiful); 'meiden op motors' = chicks on motorbikes.'altijd mooi meiden op motors' means 'always pretty girls on motorbikes' |
