double check to make sure you are typing in the user account info correctly. On android, if I remember correctly, they want your username, your email address, and your password. On regular boinc for windows/linux, I think it just wants your email and password. I have been tricked up on this while registering android phones on more than one occasion.

I am not sure which OS you have on your Pi, but heads up as it looks like Pis aren't supported in WCG projects. Check this system requirements link to see if it'll work or not and others in the forum will be able to help you more than I can as I don't have a Pi.

A RPi is an ARM processor, so you have to install Android on it for them to work with WCG. People have reported success getting WCG working on Pis with Android. I run two Odroid xu4 systems with various flavors of android, and they chew through workunits like crazy. 8 cores in the big.LITTLE design. Just keep them well cooled. I know the Pis need heatsinks and probably at least some airflow to keep them from thermal throttling.
