Hey guys,
What is your favorite VNC/Remote Desktop program for android? I have used Vysor in the past (https://www.vysor.io/), but I didn't want to pay for the full version. So, for now, I am using seven-square (https://github.com/yangh/sevensquare). It works, but it is rather slow. If I want to quickly check my android devices, I have a simple shell script that logs into the devices with adb over the network. adb then uses the ps command with grep to find what wcg tasks are running on the devices. Anyway, what works for you guys, I am rather curious.  |

----------------------------------------I have also tried to use vysor, but since is pro, same thing, don't want to use it Now I am using teamviewer/host to check IF the devices are online. IF not I can check with the website last time they were online (I am having some issues with wifi not reconnecting) and do manual wifi reconnect For some android 4.x or lower nativeBOINC is a perfect combination with BOINCTasks for monitoring (not always stable but good enough). ... except that it works (as far as I know) only for arm Android 4. or lower (so not many of those around) and maybe on x86 via wine.
----------------------------------------If thepeacemaker7 found a workaround then maybe we can convince the developer of BoincTasks to add this workaround in a beta version of his code. |

I agree with you Cristi. The official version of Boinc for Android is not accessible by Boinctasks or Boinc Manager over the network.

So your solution for odroids with sevensquare can also be applicable for normal smartphone androids via wifi or not?

Teamviewer for remote access.
