Aurum420,
Can you tell me the computer id of the host you are referring to? You can find it near the top of the event log on the BOINC manager of the host you are having issues with. Thanks, armstrdj |

Aurum420, Can you tell me the computer id of the host you are referring to? You can find it near the top of the event log on the BOINC manager of the host you are having issues with. Thanks, armstrdj The following information is used on websites that integrate with World Community Grid:Account Number: 1057590 Show Hosts: Cross-Project Id: 354c87cde6e81e3faf4071309fe171d5 4290040 = Rig-01 4290158 = Rig-02 4290156 = Rig-03 4290168 = Rig-06 4290310 = Rig-07 4290311 = Rig-08 4290321 = Rig-12 4290322 = Rig-13 4290457 = Rig-15 4290460 = Rig-16 4290462 = Rig-17 4298164 = Akira 4298169 = Alisa 4291169 = Amika 4290951 = Aurum I have another 20 headless Linux rigs but I can't read their Event Logs until I figure out how to make TeamViewer behave, or move a monitor to each one. BTW, I've never used an account manager. It's been 3 months. I use the exact same email address on all BOINC projects. All 17 of my BOINC projects use Cross-project ID: 3c077620e211d1237d796b34fe93941d except WCG. Note: WCG is the only BOINC project that does not require logging in with ones email. Might be a factor. ![]() ...KRI please cancel all shadow-banning |

I never gave WCG any kind of an ultimatum. My CalcCluster is running DC projects 24x7 and I circulate.
----------------------------------------I have a Masters in Cell and Molecular Biology specializing in immunology, virology and protein engineering. WCG is a fantastic project and I plan to participate for years to come. I remember years ago how frustrating it was to get the binding region of my antibodies folded using Rosetta because it took forever. Now I marvel at how these groups can use tens of thousands of simulations. ![]() ...KRI please cancel all shadow-banning |

Aurum,
On the hosts you run WCG on do you also run other boinc projects? If not this is how they sync and you need to run WCG with at least one other boinc project on the same host. If you do run WCG with other BOINC projects on the same host can you please send some files from one of those hosts to our support email. The files we need to look at are sched_reply_<project>.xml, sched_request_<project>.xml, and account_<project>.xml. If you could send the files for WCG then a set for one other boinc project. Also if you could send client_state.xml. All of these files are in the BOINC data directory. Thanks, armstrdj |

Aurum, On the hosts you run WCG on do you also run other BOINC projects? If not this is how they sync and you need to run WCG with at least one other BOINC project on the same host. Thanks, armstrdj I run every combination of BOINC at one time or another. At present I don't have any WCG WUs running, but I could. For a long time I had all my cores running WCG. When I first started WCG I might've been running POGS & ClimatePrediction. I might've been running all Folding@Home (non-BOINC) and switched CPU off F@H to WCG, I don't remember as that was Dec'17. Send files for WCG & one other BOINC project: sched_reply_<project>.xml sched_request_<project>.xml account_<project>.xml client_state.xml Will do when I get your email address. The Contact Us form does not allow attachments. EDIT: I'll send them to wcgrid@us.ibm.com I read this and it made my head spin: Cross-project identification ![]() ...KRI please cancel all shadow-banning[Edit 1 times, last edit by Aurum420 at Mar 20, 2018 11:04:31 PM] |

Curious why you don't just edit my CPID and figure why it's wrong later.

Aurum420,
From what I see, your reqeusts all have the same CPID. Can you send us the client_state.xml and account_<project>.xml files as well? Thanks, -Uplinger (Opps, posted while looking at Aurum's account. My mistake.) |

uplinger, Do you need a more recent set of those files or what? (Those I sent were my most recent.) I see WCG still has a different CPID than all my other BOINC projects.
