For a bit more than an hour now, I noticed that several of my hosts have not been able to neither upload nor report WUs, the logs reporting "transient HTTP error" and "HTTP service unavailable" respectively...
This happens both at my local hosts as well as several remote ones that I was able to check this morning... Ralf  |

We are performing database updates on our servers on Monday, March 5 beginning at 18:00 UTC. Well, that only vaguely explains the issue. And I did not see this article posted where it would be expected to be easily seen... We will be performing a database update to our servers on Monday, March 5, beginning at 18:00 UTC. We anticipate that the work will take approximately one hour. During this time, volunteers will not be able to download new work. No action is required by you, as your devices will automatically retry their connections after the maintenance work is completed.  Ralf |

Check your Communication Preferences. Other projects keep pestering through the BOINC agent notices about such (and less important) issues, can't see why WCG can't do the same for events like this... Btw, for what it's worth, WUs are being uploaded and reported again for the last 15-20min or so... Ralf |
