Re: 6 letter word game - discussion

Do you know what, BladeD?
I got so absorbed with illustrating that word
that all of sudden the picture overshadowed the correctness.
I have corrected it now.
Without any illustration.
I hated to see that little lasso guy go crying
I ask you kindly to forgive me.
Even as I think I'm catching on fairly well,
I am afraid that you have to get yourself
a dozen of them red pencils.

One of many aspects I enjoy, find educating and so on
is the ability of English - and perhaps it is more of an American
invention - to take a verb and put '-er' in the end of it, and all
of a sudden it's an occupation - a trade. Smart!
Also, I have noticed that far more words than I ever thought
have their origin in Dutch
don't tell adriverhoef
I thought more came from Danish than is the case.

Do you realize I have a good deal of work doing this:
Check what your word means if it a little strange - it often is thinking
and after an awful lot of fiddling steps, I decide on a word,
and I check that in order to be sure that it really is a proper English word
and that it isn't profane
- and I find it so funny. Magnetically funny.
What do you get out of it, BladeD?

Re: 6 letter word game - discussion

Yes, your short term teasing as far as the 4 letter one goes.
But we have two more games.
I don't see any similar patterns there.
And we played long before that 4 letter thing.
No, otherwise I haven't figured it out, and I'm curious

- and probably stupid.

A lot.

I cannot figure it out.

Re: 6 letter word game - discussion

Why make someone's mood swings swing the wrong way?

You should be able to slow down without changing your mood! biggrin

Re: 6 letter word game - discussion

No. Not in this case, BladeD.
Besides I cannot see how slowing down should help me getting an answer to my fairly simple question.
