No Work Available To Process

I've been running BOINC on 6 machines for a few days with no issues. Yesterday the servers seemed to go offline for a period of time, and when they came back one of my machines keeps reporting this. Updating does nothing, un/reinstalling does nothing. How can I get this machine working again?

Please post the first 30 to 40 lines from your event log and maybe we can see what the problem might be.

While looking around to find where the event log was, I stumbled on the solution. There were a couple of tasks that were suspended. I resumed them, and it's now downloading other work again. Seems that those suspensions were blocking any new work.

As long as tasks are suspended on a machine, new work could not been downloaded since it will not be requested, only completed tasks will be reported.
FYI:
  • In BoincManager, the log can be visualized over the menu "Advanced > Event log".
  • In BoincTasks, at first you should select a computer and afterwards you should select the "Messages" register.

I do have the same problem. The computer was offline for some days and because of that, two packeges were abortet because they were not delivered in time. But now the BOINC Software does not get any new projects. Also I tried to check other projects but it does not get any packages to process from any science project. Also I can't even choose from the list of my projects in the software. There is no menu. It just displayes that there is no work and it stopped.

Unistalling and reinstalling the software did not help. Also I deleted manually all folders before reinstalling. Still the same.

In the list of Result Status it shows a LOT of packeges. All with Error, Error, Error... and two with status detached.
